Yes – all of our websites are Responsive, meaning they’re optimized specifically for viewing on Mobile, Tablet, and Desktop, so when viewing on each device you’ll feel like the site was built to be viewed on the device you’re using. Since 2019, over half of all website traffic worldwide has been from a mobile device.
In general, we have a 3-5 week turnaround on new website builds. We always establish a timeline with our clients to ensure we are on the same page and aware if there are any specific launch dates we need to be completed before. Establishing a timeline also helps clients set aside time in their schedule for providing us necessary materials and reviewing the project, avoiding unnecessary delays.
We build them all! If you need a promotional website for a large music festival or just a small wedding site for posting details and registry for privately logged in users, we can do it all. If you’ve seen it on another website, then we can do it. Majority of our websites (unless otherwise specified) are built on WordPress, the most popular content management system in the world, accounting for 62% of websites that use CMS. Second place goes to Shopify, at 5.4%. Popularity and the WordPress design that allows third party plugins means an overwhelming amount of versatility. Our websites are built so our clients can manage them on their own once we finish, but we won’t leave anyone hanging if they need ongoing help! We offer packages that help our clients keep their sites up to date with new content, news, or updates on a monthly basis. Our most popular plan includes light SEO work, a monthly site backup, and 2 hours of site work each month usually spent on updating things like announcements or calendars, and adding new content.
It’s very important to track your site traffic so we always advise our clients to setup some form of analytics tracking during the site build. We integrate Google Analytics into most of our sites, but if you have another preference we are happy to accommodate!
Our team is happy to write the copy and source royalty free images for your site, use content you provide, or get you in contact with professional photographers and videographers for creating media on the site. Writing the copy will be discussed during the quote and planning phase of the website build.
We do build E-commerce websites! Check out our home page for a couple examples of past E-commerce site builds. We’ve created E-commerce sites with just a few products, larger with 1500+, and have experience working with plenty of different payment processors to meet our clients needs. We generally build our E-commerce sites on the WooCommerce platform, but are also experienced with Shopify and WIX.
Of course! Sometimes your website is just in need of some updating to get it functioning properly, displaying the correct information for your business, and looking professional. Depending on how much you’d like to change, it might be easier and more cost effective to start from scratch, but we can discuss these options together.
Currently we do not offer email hosting, and we highly advise all of our clients to utilize Google Workspace for their email needs. Google’s “Business Starter” package is loaded with fantastic tools, security, and extra storage along with a custom email, and multiple aliases, for a price that cannot be competed with. It’s important to provide your site visitors with organization and division to make the information you display easy to navigate, but also strategically arranged to make sure you’re getting the most important information to your visitors first. This will be discussed in early planning of your website build.
We are based in Calgary, Alberta but work with clients across Canada! There isn’t often a need for an in-person meeting during a site build, which allows us to work with clients all over!
